How? How did it come to this? How did Tego let himself get hurt like this? He should have known better. He continued to ask himself such questions as he listened to his own lonely sobs in the icy air.

The brunette struggled with the soft yarn intertwined with his fingers. “Eh~? Don’t start now! It’s almost time to leave!” he bellowed at it as he rolled across the bed.

Why him? Why now of all times? He had to be at the traditional Christmas Performance in an hour! If he didn’t get this annoying knot out then he’d be late; which would probably worry the others. He was supposed to be putting his things together at this very moment. This was one of those times where he wished he wasn’t a Johnny’s boy. There was so much work getting in the way he had no time for anything else.

He struggled with the knot in the yarn but it didn’t help at all; just worsened it. He ended up getting his wrists wrapped in the impossible fiber. Of coarse it was just the Soprano’s luck this would happen. From across the room he could hear his cell phone go off in his panda backpack; which he bought because Ryo told him too. It was Massu! It was Massu’s ringtone; ‘Kaerimichi No Love Song’. ‘Don’t come over!’ he prayed in his mind.

Tegoshi thought quickly of an idea to get him out of the situation without ruining the Christmas present he had been making for the gift exchange. He placed both wrists around the bed post and began to pull. It had to work! He didn’t pull to hard in fear that he might break the scarf. After all that hard work, it was the last thing he wanted to do.

FINALLY prying the yarn off his wrists; intact he began to work on the large knot. With his luck there was a knock on the door just as he was able to get rid of it. Tegoshi winced at the noise.

“Ah. Tego-chan? Are you ready? If you don’t hurry we’ll miss the next train” a familiar voice said through the door. Why? Why did he have to come get him? This ruined everything!

He scrambled off the bed and towards the backpack laying on the ground. Quickly searching through the front pocket he pulled out his cell phone. Going through his contacts he selected ‘Nishikido Ryo’. This was not part of the plan and he had to fix things. His fingers moved rapidly across the buttons; his message reading: “Massu showed up to take me to the Performance. What do I do now?! (。^~^。)”

“Hai! I’ll… be out in a moment” he replied looking to the mess of different colored yarn and gave it a half smile. “Guess it’s too late. Well, I tried” he told himself and scooped it up into a bag and gently shoved it under his bed.

There was no respond from his text after 5 minutes. With that he grabbed his panda backpack and left the room. Tegoshi let out a soft sigh as he reached for the doorknob “I’m ready. Let’s get going before we’re even later.”

A smile immediately leapt onto his face when he saw the older male. He couldn’t frown while he had that big grin staring right back at him.

Massu stood there for a moment staring at Tegoshi with an amused look on his face. Silence persuaded.

“What is it? Is my shirt on backwards or--?”

“You look fine. But… you’re missing something. Unless you intent to go out--”

Massu was cut off when Tegoshi’s mother cut through them; handing Tego a pair of jeans “Here are your pants. I cleaned them so you’re ready to go. Now put them on before you’re more late.”

Tegoshi felt his cheeks getting warm as he bit his lower lip and glanced down at his visible pink boxers. “…Ah. Excuse me” he spoke turning back into the room.

Massu waited outside his door patiently when Tego’s mother walked by again, handing him a black and white stripped jacket “Please make sure he doesn’t forget this as well.”

Massu stared at her for a moment. “Has been forgetting a lot lately?” a look of worry hitting his face.

“He’s… only been like this for a few weeks now. Don’t worry though. He got like this before the Christmas Concert last year as well. It’s normal for him to be like this before a big performance.”

Massu knew very well that wasn’t true. He was crushing on a staff member around that time and he seemed very troubled. Tegoshi even told him why he never approached her. He was scared of being rejected. Everyone loved Tegoshi. Almost no one had anything bad to say about him; maybe except his spoiled nature, but that wasn’t bad. People spoiled him in a good way. He eventually got over her though.

Tegoshi came out of the room fully clothed, except for his jacket. “No more delays. Let’s go quick before—“

Once again his mother interrupted. All he wanted to do was get there on time. “Ah, Oka-san. We’re late.”

She smiled and held out three bags. “Did you think you were getting out of here without eating? Now I know you’re late but you need to eat so you have energy. Take the food to go and PLEASE take care of each other.”

He nodded to her with a small smile “Let’s be off.”

Masuda gave the smaller boy a nod “Mm. And Johnny-sama has a surprise for us. Can’t wait to see what it is, ne?”

Tegoshi nodded. He felt really disappointed that he had nothing for ANYONE. Sure, confessing his feeling to Massu would be a great gift but Johnny… Johnny would never allow this. He’d get Massu in trouble too. He couldn’t do that to him. That was what the scarf was for, but with no scarf he was going to look so cheap on stage in front of his fans.

The soprano stared at the other as he seemed to be looking down hungrily at the three bags. He nudged Massu gently which seemed to be enough to bring him out of his daze. “We’re going to be late Masu~da-kun~.”

Masuda slipped a big grin onto his face as they headed out and placed Tegoshi’s jacket around his shoulders “Ah! Arigato~ I almost forgot.”

Massu pulled the multi-colored winter hat over his ears before he handed Tego the lighter bag and carried the heavier ones; probably because there was more food in the heavier bags. They head out the door and into the white snow. They’re feet pressed into it leaving signs of them as they traveled down the street.

The silence seemed so odd to them. Massu slipped the bag on his right arm to his left so he might reach into his coat pocket. He felt the piece of paper in his gentle grasp. If it was true that Tegoshi had another crush on someone… then it would have been a waste to write him the letter the sat securely in his pocket. He glanced over to Tegoshi whose cheeks and nose had become pink from the cold. He reached over pulling the youth’s hood on. “Do you want us to get mauled?”

Tegoshi shook his head. The older male’s words amused him. “No… I’m just not thinking clearly.”

Massu continued to stare “…Tegoshi-kun? What are you thinking?”

Tegoshi returned the glance. ‘Think of something, baka! SAY SOMETHING!’ he thought to himself. “W-Well… I… don’t have anything for the gift exchange. I feel really bad… because I was making it for someone special.”

“Ah. I was right then.”

“EH?!”

“The reason you’re forgetting to do everything and having trouble during practice. You were like that when you liked one of the staff. Is that what’s troubling you? Then let’s go out and buy a gift. It’ll only take a minute. We’ll make the train.”

Tegoshi shook his head “It wouldn’t… be the same. I was making the gift with my own hands. Besides, how did you find out about the staff girl?”

Massu nodded and looked to the ground “That’s understandable. And it wasn’t hard not to notice. You stared at her a particular way that gave it away.”

Tegoshi looked at Massu dumbfounded “…How did I stare at her?”

Massu cleared his throat “I’ll show you then.” He tilted his head a bit and pouted. That look was... so cute, so innocent.

Tego felt his face getting warm again. “I didn’t look like that!”

Massu poked at Tego’s cheek “You did too.”

The two of them continued on as they neared the train.

Despite the cold, both had warm cheeks by the time they got on the train. This time together (and the company) was greatly cherished even though throughout the train ride they stayed quiet. They rather not give away their identity and get pounced by fans on the train like multiple times.

They got off the train and once again they’re stride continued in silence.

“Tegoshi-kun… Don’t worry too much about the gift exchange. If it makes you feel any better… my gift didn’t work out either” Massu stated.

Tego looked up to meet the others eyes “How so?”

“Well… it turned out that, that person already got what they wanted for Christmas.”

Tegoshi lowered his head “I see. So, we’re in the same position.”

They entered the back stage area and immediately went to their dressing rooms.

When Tegoshi entered his; which he was sharing with Nishikido, he was met by none other than the Sexy Osaka Man himself.

“I only just got your text. How did it go on the way here?” he asked, plopping down on the couch.

Tegoshi grimaced “Honestly? It could have gone better. We were… so quiet.”

“Why didn’t you strike up a conversation, then?”

“Well, he did but, they didn’t last. He’s… getting suspicious.”

Ryo fell silently into thought “Well why would he? Did you say anything to hint it?”

“Maybe, I don’t remember. What do I do, Ryo-Tan? I’m so scared that he’ll get the wrong idea.”

Ryo got up and ushered him over to the couch and sat him down. “Calm down Tego-Nyan. Did you eat today?”

Tego shook his head in a negative gesture and lifted the bag “But I do have food with me.”

Ryo patted his back reassuringly “Listen. Not eating because you’re nervous will only cause you more trouble. And today of all days would be the worst to pass out from lack of nutrients.”

Tego nodded.

“Listen to me if you want have a successful future with Masuda-kun. Eat first and then we’ll do a little role-playing. I’ll be Massu and you be you. That will give me a better idea of what to do with you two.”

Tegoshi listened to his friend. Reaching into the bag he pulled out his dinner and took a few bites of his fried rice.

“Ok now. How were you planning on confess to him?” Ryo asked sitting across from him.

Tego began “Ever since Sweden…”

Meanwhile Massu turned the corner with bags in hand. He had taken them with him on accident and was returning them to Tego when he paused as Tego’s soft voice reached his ears.

“...when I found you passed in the hotel room” he paused “I can’t stop my heart from beating like crazy whenever I see you. I get this strange feeling in my stomach and my face will get warm when you grin my way. I… guess… what I’m trying to say is…. Aishiteru” he spoke; the last part a bit shaky.

Massu paused, his breath shaking. He quietly set the bags down and walked a good twenty feet away from the door before pausing.

Ryo nodded a bit “That sounds fine. Now go tell him.”

Tego’s eyes widened “Eh? Now?”

“Why not now? It’s the best time. He’s not doing anything important.”

“I… will then. Yeah, I’ll go” Tegoshi said taking a deep breath and standing. “Arigato, for everything Ryo-Tan” he spoke, ending it with a bow.

“Get out of here.”

Tego grinned and headed out the door. He closed it and turned to see Massu standing in the hall a ways away. “Ah! Just who I was looking for! I have something to tell you Masuda-Kun~”

“I know” the other spoke in a low voice. “I have something to say as well.”

“You do?” Tego said; his smile widening.

“One of the staff confessed to me. She’s a really nice girl and I like her.”

Ryo walked out into the hall just in time to see a tear struck Tego run by. He turned to see Massu standing in the hall. He walked over whacking him in the back of the head HARD. “What did you say to him?” he asked in a harsh voice only the Sexy Osaka Man could produce.

Massu spun around staring down at Nishikido “He—You two!”

“What about US? Oh shit. You didn’t.”

“But he confessed to you in there. Didn’t he?” Massu asked, dim-witted.

Ryo let out a sigh “No. It was for you. He wanted my opinion on it.”

Massu fell silent thinking to himself. Those words… were meant for him? Tego loved… him? A smile slipped onto his face, his heart fluttered and he dried the tears from his eyes.

“Don’t be happy. Your lover just ran off in tears.”

That was enough for Massu to take off in a run. The backstage was like a maze, how was he supposed to find him. He finally came to a dead end. He stood panting. Where could Tego have gone? Then… soft sobs could be heard from a door reading ‘In case of fire stand clear’ “Outside!”

In a rush he pushed… a bit too hard on the door causing it to swing open and for him to come tripping out. The sobbing Tego spun around to see who had fallen into the snow behind him. Massu, Why him? “H-Hai?”

Massu lifted his head from the snow and began stuttering from lack of breath “Te—Ah—I—Aishisteru!!”

Tego paused. Glanced away then looked back. Did he hear him right? Was Massu talking to him? He was the only one there so he must of “E-Eh?”

Just then Massu crawled through the snow and embraced Tegoshi from behind. “I-I said… Ai-Aishiteru” he softly whispered into the brunette’s ear, his lips brushing against it.

Tego closed his eyes; letting those precious words seep in. He spun around kissing Massu tenderly in response; Massu did the same.

After a moment they both pulled away gently. Tegoshi glanced to his hand that had somehow got itself tangled into Massu’s black hair. He read the kanji on it and looked back to Massu “We… can finish that tonight. How’s your place?”

Massu was taken by surprise when Tegoshi spoke “Ah…!” Massu’s grin found its way onto his face and he nodded.

Ryo stood by the door, a smirk pressed firmly on his face. “I’ve taught him we—“He was cut off when a pair of hands fell in front of his face.

“Kiss is the master key. Unchained Melody. Endless Ecstasy. Love” a familiar voice sang into his sensitive ear; the sound vibrating with shaky notes.

Ryo smiled, pulling the door shut slowly.

Yeah... Hello there peeps.

Um... I'm obviously new and It's been really fun trying to figure LJ out. OF COARSE I waited a month before trying to figure it out but at least I know how to use it. So... anyone seen Hana yori Dango? Shun and Jun are such babes. Yes, I love the JE boys too. Especially Masuda. I'm just now getting into a group called DBSK. Damn, Jaejong is nice. *0* Not to mention Mickey makes me think of a child. ANYWAYS... moving on.

Yeah, I stayed home sick today. Damn cold. It was really bad last night though. I was so out of it. Oh... and I almost puked. That was fun.

Omg. I love 'Pumpkin' by Masu. o3o He make up for 'It's Bad'. Really Masu that was just embarrassing. I didn't even watch the whole thing through. That's how bad it was </3. I got to 30 seconds and had to stop it. BUT you are very sexy in Pumpkin. Sexy with a little bit of cuteness. <3

Oh, lately I'm obsessing over Koyama and Shige. Oh! Pi and Kusano too. OH AND JOHNNY! BRING UCHI BACK DAMNN YOU. He belongs in Kanjani8! And Pi needs his Kusa! So yeah! Give the fangirls what they want! THEIR ASIANS! DDDDD<

Yeah... had to get that off my chest. My Art test is coming up and if I don't get a C or higher I can't play with clay and make a pumpkin for Masuda and maybe one day send it to him in Japan. ;___; BUT I WILL TRIUMPH! YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PUMPKIN MASUDA!MAN OR I'M NOT A TOTALLY DEDICATED FANGIRL!
